2. Data Collected
Contact form and appointment booking
When you contact us (form, email, telephone), we collect: surname, first name, email address, telephone number, and, where applicable, your pet’s name and breed, together with the content of your message. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and to manage our services.
Booking a service
To arrange a service (grooming, day-care, pet-sitting), we collect the information necessary for its proper performance: contact details, address (for pick-up or in-home sitting), information relating to the animal (age, health, behaviour, vaccinations), and an emergency contact person.
Browsing data
Our host (Infomaniak SA, Geneva, Switzerland) retains technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for a limited period for security purposes and anonymised statistics.
3. Cookies and Measurement Tools
Our website uses cookies for it to function properly and, with your consent, to measure audience figures and improve our content. You may change your choices at any time via the cookie banner displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Google Analytics (with consent)
We use Google Analytics (identifier G-8P87P492DF) to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, duration, traffic source). The data is anonymised and transferred to Google LLC (United States) on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/PFPDT). Retention period: 14 months. You may opt out at any time via the cookie banner or by installing Google’s opt-out add-on.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
- Performance of a contract — for any service booked.
- Legitimate interest — website security, handling of enquiries.
- Consent — analytics and advertising cookies, any sending of marketing communications.
- Legal obligation — retention of accounting records (10 years, Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations, CO).
5. Recipients of the Data
Your data is never sold. It may be disclosed, strictly to the extent necessary, to:
- Our host (Infomaniak SA, Geneva, Switzerland), for technical storage.
- Our partner dog-sitters and cat-sitters, solely to organise the service they provide (contact details, information about the animal).
- The trusted veterinarian, in the event of a medical emergency during a stay.
- Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel), where you have given your consent.
- The competent authorities, where required by law.
6. Retention Period
- Client records: for the duration of the business relationship + 3 years.
- Invoices and accounting documents: 10 years (Art. 958f CO).
- Contact form messages: 1 year maximum.
- Analytics cookies: 14 months maximum.
7. Your Rights (Art. 25 et seq. nLPD)
You have the following rights at all times:
- Right of access — to know what data we hold about you.
- Right of rectification — to correct inaccurate data.
- Right of erasure — to request deletion, within the limits permitted by law.
- Right to object — to refuse processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured format.
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/PFPDT).
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure (HTTPS encryption, regular backups, restricted staff access to data).
9. Amendments
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the law or in our practices. The version in force is the one published on this page.
