Should I have my dog vaccinated before the session?
Yes, we require that vaccinations be up to date (at least the CHPL vaccine, and ideally the kennel cough vaccine). This protects your dog and all the animals in our care.
How long does a full grooming session take?
It depends on the dog’s size and coat: 1 to 1.5 hours for a small dog, 1.5 to 2.5 hours for a medium-sized dog, and up to 3 to 4 hours for large, long-haired breeds. We’ll provide you with an accurate estimate when you make your reservation.
My dog is scared — how will his first visit go?
We take the time to welcome him calmly, without rushing. The first session often begins with a moment for him to explore the space, and then we adjust the pace to suit his temperament. You’re welcome to stay with him for the first few minutes if that reassures him.
